Urban Decay: Midnight Cowboy Junkie Set

Earlier this month, (before I decided to try not to buy more makeup) I bought Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy Junkie Set. I almost feel like I got it because I long for the Naked palette and I need something to keep my mind off of it until I get it lol...it's not working though...
I really do like this palette a lot. The shadows are great for creating night looks in my opinion, because they are really glittery and I prefer matte or even subtle shimmery looks for the day. The descriptions below are from the Urban Decay website and they're dead on!

Midnight Cowboy (pink champagne w/ lots of silver glitter)
Midnight Cowboy Rides Again (golden beige w/ bronze, gold & silver glitter)
Midnight Cowgirl (subtle golden-beige w/ gold glitter)
Romp (deep silvery grape)

24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil: WhiskeyAs far as I know, all of the Urban Decay palettes come with a 24/7 eyeliner. This one came with Whiskey, a dark brown that compliments the shadows and is perfect for daytime looks.
Lip Junkie Lip Gloss: Midnight CowboyThe set also came with a Midnight Cowboy lipgloss. It's basically the Midnight Cowboy lipstick in lipgloss form: sheer nude and full of glitter. I will never use this so I will probably give it to my sister.

I was just a few dollars shy of free shipping so I decided to get a single eyeshadow in Shakedown. It's a beautiful taupe with a matte finish.

Urban Decay Skyscraper Multi-Benefit Mascara

Since I basically have no lashes, I'm always on the hunt for a good mascara. I'm so glad I tried out UD's Skyscraper Multi-Benefit Mascara. The wand works like magic on my lashes! It makes them look soo much longer and fuller. The formula doesn't dry right away so I can apply a few coats without my lashes getting clumpy. It has a little bit of fallout but nothing too extreme.

Spring Favorites!

MAC Lipstick in Blankety
A soft pink beige amplified creme lipstick. (As described on mac.com)

OPI-Do You Lilac It?, China Glaze-Re-fresh Mint, China Glaze-For Audrey
I've been using these A LOT--love them! I actually got the China Glaze from a website that sells them for a cheaper price. I will be doing a review on that in a future post. (:

MAC e/s in Naked Lunch
A frosty, pinky-beige shimmery eyeshadow.
I don't know what happened to the swatch. :o(
MAC blush in Melba
I use this almost every day. It's a soft coral-peach matte blush. (As described on mac.com)
Stiles Razor
I always stack up on these, they are perfect for shaping your eyebrows and if you are not happy with the shape you created don't worry! Since it is a razor your hair will grow back a lot faster. If you do like the shape of your eyebrows then you can keep them up with a good pair of tweezers.
E.L.F. Slant Tweezer
These are amazing! They work really well and are only $1! You can't go wrong.
Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave In Split End Protector
Since I bought the Long Term Relationship Shampoo and Conditioner I decided to try out the leave in split end protector...(there might have been a 3/$10 sale)...I absolutely love the way this product smells! It reminds me of a shampoo they had in an older collection, it might be the same one but with a different name. Anyway, this really does help minimize the amount of split ends I have.

REVIEW: Urban Decay-All Nighter-Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

I was soo excited when this came out! I got it right away and I'm so glad I did. Just spray it a few times after you set your foundation and voila!

Pros: This spray leaves my skin really smooth and keeps my makeup fresh and flawless allowing it to last all day.

Cons: I wouldn't recommend this product for people that have oily skin. My skin type is a combination and I've noticed that almost every time after a few hours of having this product on my face, my forehead becomes oily.

All in all, I do like this product, but for $29, I would wait until I have a promotional code again.
