It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In

So I'm on a journey towards, healthier, stronger hair. My hair is pretty long and I will be donating it this year to Locks of Love. I'm in desperate need for a cut and hopefully I can get that done soon. I want my hair to be in top shape when I donate it so I've been easing off on applying heat to it. I also apply a L'Oreal's Overnight Repair Treatment about once a week and always prep my hair with It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In spray.

Here are the 10 Things it Does:
1. Repairs dry damaged hair.
2. Adds shine.
3. Smoothes & controls frizz.
4. Seals & protects hair color.
5. Flat iron spray & thermal protector.
6. Detangles.
7. Stops hair breakage.
8. Creates silkiness.
9. Enhances natural body.
10. Prevents split ends.

How To Use:
Shampoo and condition hair, towel dry, spray product all over hair and comb through. Blow dry or style as desired.
[itsa10haircare.com]
I usually let it sit in my hair for about a minute and then carefully comb through it to evenly spread the product without damaging my hair too much.
To smooth your hair, the company recommends to spray the product on your hand a couple of times and then run it through your hair. (I have yet to try that since I always lightly use hair spray for smoothing/hold.)

I saw immediate results and was convinced that this was really a miracle product! I wasn't sure how I felt about the smell at first, but once it dries it leaves your hair smelling really clean (I've been using it with Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner). You can purchase It's A 10 products at Sally Beauty Supply and Ulta.
I've been using it for well over two months now and will continue using it as long as it's made.

Viva Glam Gaga 2

The second Viva Glam Gaga lipstick was released last week, so I headed out on Saturday to purchase it.
The Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipglass was also released at the same time and if I remember correctly, the first Viva Glam Gaga lipglass wasn't released until after the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick came out.

The lipstick is a peach/beige-nude with an amplified finish.

I'm not a huge lipgloss person, but this lipglass is very creamy, not sticky and has very fine shimmer.

Most of my lipstick collection is made up of nudes. I've tried to find a dupe because VG Gaga 2 is being compared to so many other lipsticks but I really own nothing like it. Peachstock (my favorite) looks like it may be in the same family, but it is a lot more peachy and darker. (VG Gaga 2 is actually a bit more on the pink side than how it showed up).

Both the lipstick and lipglass are $14.50 and are limited edition (they will be available for about a year).
Remember that the money raised will go to the MAC AIDS Fund.

I will feature this lipstick in a future FOTD.

Will you guys be purchasing this lipstick?

Cupid Hit Me! ♥

Wow, could I sound any cheesier with that title? Haha...
This post is going to be a little different but I hope it's something you enjoy.

I don't usually celebrate Valentine's Day but I've been really inspired by other bloggers lately so I decided to paint my nails with my own take on the holiday and also share with you all a DIY gift.

Now, before I get any further into the post I would like to explain why I don't celebrate the holiday.
I really do value the love and friendship that I share with the special people in my life, however I don't like that people exchange gifts because they feel that they "have to"...I prefer getting something any other day of the year because someone saw something and thought of me and decided to get it. (Yes, I like gifts. (: )--I'm starting to feel the same way about Christmas, but we won't get into that lol.

With that being said, I bought a few nail tools from Ebay because I would really like to start jazzing up my nails and this is what I came up with:

They still had some extra polish because I wasn't done cleaning them up yet. Don't judge me. :o/ I kid...
It was the first time I seriously attempted doing a little something extra on my nails.
The process was very simple:
(I didn't use a base coat because I didn't have one.)
I painted two coats of American Apparel's Cotton.
Then with three different sized dotters, I layered on Rimmel London's Black Satin and OPI's Color So Hot It Berns.
Since I can only really use my right hand, I used a thin, dense, nail brush to paint on the heart (with OPI's So Hot It Berns.)
Finally I layered on a (clear), top coat by Sinful Colors.

...and now for the DIY gift!
I think these are the most special kinds of gifts you can give/receive (and your wallet will be happy too!).
I mentioned before that I don't usually celebrate Valentine's Day and that is because in the past I've baked brownies & cookies and packaged them all with ribbon and candy as gifts--so when I saw this, I knew I wanted to do it!

Simple right?
I got this idea from Ginny, please check out her blog for all the details, she's super sweet and has great posts!
I will be making mine tomorrow. I'll post a picture on Twitter.;o]

What will you guys be doing for Valentine's Day this year?

M·A·C: Wonder Woman

My Wonder Woman package finally got here a couple of days ago.
I was anxiously waiting for it and think it got delayed because of the blizzard.
I only got three things:

I like the box packaging better than the compact packaging lol.
It reminds me of children's makeup, but it's what's inside that counts.

First things first, this msf is huge! (0.70 oz.)
If you have a light complexion you can use the trio as a highlight, bronzer & blush, but you can also mix them together to create different shades.
The blush can work as a nice highlight on darker skin tones.
I think these shades can be dupable so if you can't get your hands on it you can probably find other products that will work just as well.
It is nice however to have a trio like this to throw in your makeup bag & for traveling so that you don't have to haul around tons of makeup.
I really like the lipstick packaging, I love the red star detail against the gold on the top part of the tube.

This lipstick is a pinky-nude with a lustre finish.
If Hue (satin) and The Faerie Glen l/e (lustre) had a baby it'd be Marquise d'.

This lipstick is a deep magenta with a satin finish.
It has more red undertones than Petals & Peacocks l/e (amplified).

The collection launches in stores and counters tomorrow.
Have you guys pick up anything from this collection yet?
If not, what's on your list?
